How your morning Starts sets up the tone for the rest of the day. If we start morning fresh and on a positive note, we get a headstart for the day. Here is a morning routine that will help you start your day on the high and keep up your energies high throughout the day.

  1. Wake Up Naturally 
    • Wake up naturally with the sun, allow natural light of dawn into bedroom, waking up with the sun helps set up circadian rhythm well. 
    • Waking up to morning bird calls is a natural alarm clock that fills with positivity.  
    • Pet animals also help you get up in the morning and start the day right away. 
  2. Mindful Start:
    • Once awake start your day with Gratitude.
    • We have a lot to be thankful for, and waking up in the morning is one of the most underrated privilege we get. 
    • Be thankful, or offer prayers if you like. 
  3. .Hydrate
    • Once out of bed;  Drink a glass of warm water with a squeeze of lemon to kickstart digestion and hydrate your body after sleep.
    • Remember not to drink too much of water empty stomach, drink only if you are thirsty, and don’t drink cold water as it will affect agni.
  4. Stretching

Stretch your muscles- Perform gentle stretches or yoga to awaken your body and improve circulation

  1. Natural Light Exposure:

Sunlight: Spend a few minutes outside in natural sunlight to help regulate your circadian rhythms and boost your mood.
