Why wake up early ?
Our bodies, like everything in this universe, are made up of the Panchmahabhutas. When we are in harmony with the universe then only we can achieve the best physical, psychological, and spiritual health! Synchronous harmony with the universe starts with matching the circadian rhythms of our bodies with the cycles of sunlight.
Benefits of Waking Up Early
- Alignment with the rhythms of the universe
Circadian Rhythms- our bodies naturally are tuned to the circadian rhythm by biological clock, getting up early helps set this clock right.
Brahma Muhurta: This is the time approximately 1.5 hours before sunrise (around 4:30 – 6:00 AM), considered the most auspicious time for spiritual practices and self-reflection. This is the right time to wake up.

According to Ayurveda, the digestive fire (Agni) is stronger in the morning, getting up early keeps this Agni strong, and strong digestion means everything else becomes easy.
Early start for the metabolic system, means we get energy throughout the day.

Exercise- best time to exercise is in the morning hours, when hormones, required for growth and maintenance are at peak levels .
Better Sleep Quality- when we start getting up early, we get early bedtime, better quality sleep. Sleep quality is best in the first part of the night that is before midnight.
